Neptune prioritizes privacy protection. By accessing our Services, you acknowledge accepting the outlined practices and consent to data collection and use as described.

Use of Services is subject to the Terms of Use. This policy may change with notice provided via website, email, or other means. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance.

1. What this privacy policy covers

This policy applies to personal information gathered when accessing or using Neptune’s Services. “Personal Data” includes information identifying individuals under applicable privacy laws. This policy excludes practices of unowned companies or unmanaged individuals.

Marketing consent: You consent to receive marketing communications about relevant services, with opt-out rights available.

2. Categories of personal data we collect

Profile or contact data

First and last name, email, phone number, unique identifiers. Used for service provision, customization, improvement, marketing, correspondence, service providers, business partners, and authorized third parties.

Payment data

Financial account information, card type, last 4 digits, billing address, phone, email. Used for service provision and payment processing (through Stripe, Inc.).

Device/IP data

IP address, device ID, domain server. Used for service provision and service providers.

Web analytics

Web page interactions, non-identifiable request IDs. Used for service provision and service providers.

Consumer demographic data

Age, date of birth, zip code, gender. Used for service provision, service providers, and business partners.

Other identifying information

Emails, letters, texts, and communications sent to Neptune. Used for service provision, correspondence, service providers, and business partners.

Neptune will not collect additional categories or use data for materially different purposes without notice or consent.

Note: Services do not support “Do Not Track” browser requests.

Necessary for requested features and services. Disabling may limit functionality.

Performance/analytical cookies:

Measure visitor numbers, page views, and time spent. Google Analytics is used per Google’s terms and privacy policy.

Session replay technology

Neptune uses session replay to identify issues, monitor usage, understand behavior, and improve Services. You consent through continued use; settings are adjustable via cookie management.

8. Data security

Neptune implements appropriate physical, technical, organizational, and administrative security measures based on data type and processing method.

User responsibilities:

  • Select and protect passwords/sign-on mechanisms
  • Limit device and browser access
  • Sign off after account use

No transmission or storage method is completely secure.

9. Data retention

Neptune retains Personal Data for:

  • Providing Services
  • Fulfilling business purposes for collection
  • Legal compliance
  • Dispute resolution
  • Fee collection
  • Other legal requirements

Examples:

Profile/credentials: Retained for active account duration plus a reasonable period for legal compliance, dispute resolution, and legitimate business purposes. Information retained for marketing unless consent withdrawn.

Payment data: Retained as long as needed to process purchases or subscriptions.

Device/IP data: Retained to ensure system functionality.

Anonymous/aggregated data: May be retained indefinitely.

10. Personal data of children

Neptune does not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 13. Children under 13 should not register or send Personal Data.

COPPA compliance:

  • Neptune requires parental consent before knowingly collecting personally identifiable information from children under 13
  • Only “Required Information” (necessary for obtaining consent) is collected before consent
  • Neptune does not condition service participation on excessive Personal Data disclosure from children under 13
  • Personal Data from children under 13 is not retained longer than necessary

Parental options:

Parents/guardians may contact Neptune to:

  • Stop Personal Data collection from their child
  • Request deletion of collected Personal Data (except anonymous/aggregated forms)
  • Prevent disclosure to third parties (while permitting use for Services)

California resident rights

CCPA and California Civil Code rights:

  1. Right to know what Personal Data is collected and how it’s used/shared
  2. Right to delete Personal Data
  3. Right to opt-out of Personal Data sales
  4. Right to non-discrimination for exercising CCPA rights

Exercise rights:

Do Not Track: Services do not currently support browser “Do Not Track” requests. More information available at www.allaboutdnt.com .

Nevada resident rights

Neptune does not currently sell Personal Data as defined in Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A.
